Construction Director – Energy

Job Overview

Our Client is a utility-scale wind and solar energy development company respected worldwide.

Seeking to hire a Construction Director /Manager to wind and solar projects. This position will be located in the company headquarters where the candidate will report directly to the Director of Construction and Engineering.

DUTIES · Facilitate field relationships with utility field engineers and general contractor · Facilitate submittals with general contractor and utility · Coordinate permit compliance documentation to obtain building permits · Conduct site meetings for initial field locates with utility · Coordinate field construction staking · Provide written weekly report for internal and external reporting · Visit sites during construction as needed · Be a field resource to protect the company’s interests and brand. · Assist and meet with neighbor relations as required · Ensure overall construction goals and timelines are being met · Expectation is 3 days in the field and 2 in the office each week

EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s degree · A minimum of two years’ construction management experience · A minimum of two years’ construction management experience in the renewable energy industry · Skills/ Personal Attributes: o Strong management skills o Achievement driven o Creative Thinker and problem solver o Loyal and committed to the organization o In pursuit of personal growth o Ability to work as part of team and lead one
